One of the worst and painful feelings is hopelessness, and it is scary and hard to deal with. Believing we have no chance to solve a problem or crisis and sink into thoughts of despair turns into suffering very quickly. An excellent way to deal with this is to seek help from your peers; indeed, someone else out there has gone through a similar situation and made it out just fine. Therapy, support groups, advice from someone you trust are just some of the things you can get a grip on. Having a fear of asking for help is understandable; however, it is crippling. Go for it!
